US Citizenship Classes

Course Description: This course is for lawful permanent residents who want to become citizens.  Students will learn about the naturalization process.  They will receive help to improve their English speaking, reading and writing skills.  Students will also learn about the civics questions, both US history and government that could be asked during the naturalization test.

Days & Time

  • Tuesdays: 5:30pm – 7:00pm, or
  • Thursdays: 10:00am – 11:30am

Cost

$10/student to cover cost of textbook

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Teacher Assistants needed to work with the teacher and adult students. This is a great way to develop new relationships and learn about US citizenship at the same time.

Childcare Workers are needed:

  • We would like to provide childcare for children 0 to 3 for parents attending citizenship classes.
  • Volunteers must be 18 or older and clear a background check.
